By 2010 the project has planned the ethnographic village organization, devoted to the North aboriginal small population way of life and traditions where the tourists, firstly the inhabitants of Murmansk, will be able to take dog or reindeer team drive, to have a rest and get acquainted with Saami way of life and features.
The similar 2-4 acre square complex, situated in the outskirts of the town, includes open-air cages with dogs, reindeer corrali, a small driving route, a hotel, Saami tents and vezhi, a catering enterprise.
Such village organizing, bright national festivals and holidays of North aboriginal small population of Russia, Finland, Sweden and Norway will promote leisure variety and consolidation of friendly and economic mutual relations of inhabitants of Murmansk and our northern neighbours, and also, by no means, will attract numerous Russian and foreign tourists.
The present village infrastructure further development plans a training base organization, prepared routes for competitions, a dogs’ nursery for taking place the annual Russian driving sport championship and this kind of sport popularization among population.
